2-Year Photos
I'll have some more 2nd birthday posts coming. I know, I know...their birthday was over a month ago! We've been busy! The girls' had their birthday party a few weeks ago. We had a lot of fun planning and celebrating their Pancakes and Pajamas party and, when I get those photos, I'll write up a post.
In the meantime, I wanted to share a few photos from the girls' 2-year photo shoot...

Roar!
We love visiting the Oregon Zoo! We have a membership and visit 2-3 times a month. It's a great way for the girls to burn some energy and we always see something "new."
On Thursday, we were able to see one of the "mama lions" (as the girls call the female lions) up close. Usually they are all up lounging up on the rocks (the rocks are heated). The girls were having a blast following the lioness back and forth and she paced along the glass.
This is one of the pics I snagged with my phone...Esme and the lioness having a stare down!

Happy 2nd Birthday!
Two years ago, today, my world changed...for the better!
On March 4th, 2011 (at 7:27 and 7:48pm) we welcomed two beautiful and amazing girls into our lives!
Esme & Ellerie,
Our world is better because you are in it. You bring us so much joy. We are so blessed with double the hugs, kisses, smiles and laughs. You both amaze us every single day and we have really enjoyed watching you grow into independent little people (even though some days are very exhausting!). We love you so very much!
Happy 2nd Birthday!
Mommy and Daddy
Here is a video of photos (by Bliss Studio) from the hospital the day they were born...if it still works. I love looking back at it.
More birthday posts will come. We just moved into a new house on Saturday and most birthday celebrating will be delayed a couple weeks. We don't have internet set up yet, so I am posting this from my phone...not the easiest task.

Glow In The Dark Bath
Today, I used this to calm my fussy, whiny, sleep deprived, trying to get over a cold toddlers.
I had a pack of 5 glow in the dark bracelets that I think I picked up at the Dollar Tree. In the pack there were 5 different colored sticks and little connecters to turn the sticks into bracelets. I threw the connecters away and got the 5 sticks glowing, turned off the lights and the girls had a blast playing "in the dark!"
Don't worry...I could see much better than the pictures show!
